  Ramasimhan Murder case: A story of conversion and murder.  Yet another unknown chapter in Kerala history. Ramasimhan (sitting) A couple of decades after the large scale murder of Hindus by the Muslims of Kerala in 1921 , there was a celebrated murder that happened in Malappuram District just two weeks before independence on August 3 rd 1947. Uneen Sahib was a wealthy Muslim businessman. His father Moidu Saheeb had leased 600 acres of land from Kundrackal Nair family near Kodur in Malappuram (dt) and was running a successful rubber business. He had built a huge bungalow there named "malaparamba" and had used stones from the nearby dilapidated Narasimha temple to build it. Uneen Sahib also built a large palatial house in Chemmankadavu near Malappuram town.
